Although Dale's playing schedule is scaled back, he continues to open shows for some of his favorite artists, performing as opening guest of Asleep at the Wheel in Boise.

September 1, 2006; Dale opened for David Bromberg at the Egyptian Theater in Boise.

 

His 2006 schedule also included a songwriting workshop and performance with Grammy winner Dave Alvin in Salt Lake City; singing harmony with Sam Bush at the Targhee Music Festival; and opening for Grammy winners Tim O'Brien and Texas songwriting legend Guy Clark.
